There is an African proverb that reads:
“When there is no enemy within, the enemy outside can do you no harm.”

When you refuse to allow any doubts in your own mind, then no doubts from others will ever cloud your judgement.

 there can be no other that will defeat you with their words, or with their judgements.
When YOU believe in you,
you need no other to believe in you.
Because others, really have no say in who you will become.
 Only you have that say.

The greatest challenge and the greatest obstacle any human will face is their own doubts, their own fears and their own conditioned thoughts.

There is no greater pain that can be inflicted on you,
than your own internal enemy.
Your own thoughts will cause you more pain than anyone or anything.

 They can be likened to a terrorist living in your soul…

But, when you learn to control and direct your mind, you can direct that internal voice to work for you, rather than against you.

You get it to work for you by creating a compelling future. 
A future you will be proud to achieve, proud to live through.

You do this by not by just having GOALS, but having meaningful GOALS. 
GOALS that get you excited to wake up every morning.

You do this be understanding what your purpose in life really is.

 In follow up studies, the researchers determined the children who showed discipline, and were able to wait for the delayed but bigger and better reward, went on to have better life outcomes.

Now, it’s easy to dismiss this test by saying they’re only kids… but think about your life … or many adults you might know… maybe even yourself.

And on the reverse side, if you do have discipline, that will reflect in a positive way in your health, energy and physical appearance.

But why do some people seem to be able to easily apply discipline to their food choices and some continually struggle with it?

Here’s 3 clear reasons.

Number 1.


Those who lack discipline in any area have NOT made the end result important enough.

Example: Mary struggled with her diet for years, she tried diet after diet… program after program… but was never able to maintain the discipline to make a lifelong change.

 One has a navigation system, and their destination is locked in.

 The other has no idea where they ARE or where they are going…

common sense can answer who will arrive at their destination first… (or at all)

For a moment there was a silence. The girl kept looking at him with an expression of surprise as if to say: "Who is this one telling to come out?"

Then the pastor repeated the command, but this time it was as if he had provoked the spirit in the girl to anger...

Before he could finish his statement, the girl (with a masculine voice at that moment) shouted: "KEEP QUIET!"

"Who are you commanding?!"

Before the pastor could compose himself again, two slaps had landed on his cheeks...

The parents who had brought their child for deliverance were the ones who quickly intervened and rescued the pastor from the hands of their possessed daughter who was ready to devour him...

But before the whole scenario elapsed, the girl made a striking statement to the pastor that is worth noting; she said: "Before you command us next time, make sure you are no longer connected to us - rubbish!"

The moment he left the church, he ran straight into the bush...

He was ready to wrestle with God and die seeking his face...

The man of God was determined not to return to his community until the Heavens were torn open and a fresh glory descended on him...

He was ready to fast and pray until every iota of weakness had disappeared from him...

As he entered the bush that day, this was his prayer: "Lord! Take away that thing the demon saw in me that made him to treat me like trash!"

"Baba, I rather die than to live the rest of my life at the mercy of the devil!"

"Father, kill my weakness or kill me!"

He wasn't crying for anointing to command exploit in ministry... He wasn't asking God to give him prosperity... He wasn't crying for international connections and helpers...
He was crying for just one thing - CONSECRATION!

To cut long story short, that man of God tarried inside that bush for seven days without food or water...

Exposed to cold, sun and wild animals, he travailed until he secured a visitation from Heaven...

He didn't do it with his clear eyes, a demon had humiliated him, he had no choice!

By the time he returned from that mountain experience, he sent for that same possessed girl that had humiliated him; when the family of the girl brought her, the girl was still standing from afar when she started screaming...

Her deliverance came by just having an eye contact with the pastor...

He didn't utter any word, the demon jumped out of her!

Why?

The glory of God had been restored in the life of the man of God...

No demon from hell can withstand the glory of God...
